115 & 116 National Dog Show of Galicia / 52nd International Dog Show of Galicia

Arde Lucus
Arde Lucus transforms the city of Lugo into its ancient Roman incarnation of Lucus Augusti for four days each June, with thousands of participants in period costume filling the streets. The festival features Roman military parades, gladiatorial combats, a Celtic market, and historical reenactments set against the backdrop of the city's UNESCO-listed Roman walls.
Resurrection Fest
Resurrection Fest is one of Europe's premier heavy music festivals, held in the coastal town of Viveiro (Lugo) from July 1–4, 2026. The 2026 lineup includes Iron Maiden, Limp Bizkit, Marilyn Manson, and Sabaton among dozens of acts spanning metal, punk, and hardcore, drawing fans from across Spain and internationally.
Festa da Fabada
The Festa da Faba de Lourenzá is a beloved gastronomic festival in the town of Lourenzá (Lugo) celebrating the locally grown faba bean, an IGP-protected ingredient key to Galician cuisine. Held over the first weekend of October, the event features tastings, cooking demonstrations, and live entertainment drawing visitors from across the region.
San Froilán Festivities
The Festas de San Froilán honor Lugo's patron saint from October 4–12, 2026, drawing hundreds of thousands of visitors to one of Galicia's most popular autumn festivals.
